The Razer Blackwidow Ultimate is Razer's only release of a 'mechanical keyboard' and it's something they're very proud of. It's being sold as a new and improved feel and we here at Illuminated Keyboards really like this new feature.
It all comes down to the fact that the Blackwidow Ultimate has a more tactile feedback so the keys feel more pronounced. Razer say it's faster than any other keyboard per command because of the difference in weight needed for each keystroke. Thankfully Razer have also thrown in their usual collection of features; illuminated keys, macro buttons, multi-profiles and anti-ghosting. The Ultimate edition also has 5 levels of back lighting and built in audio, microphone and USB ports.
